The Master Healer

Adjusting woman on tableYour brain is the master healer of your body, sending signals through the spinal cord. These signals travel along nerves that exit between the joints of your spine. If those joints aren’t moving properly, it irritates the nerve and interrupts communication. The result can be signals that are muddled, or signals that are lost completely—liked a dropped cell phone call. When your brain can’t communicate with your body, problems arise.

How Chiropractic Can Help

Chiropractic adjustments accomplish three things:

  1. Remove nerve interference so your body has 100% capacity to itself from pain and sickness
  2. Remove nerve interference so you can prevent pain and sickness in the first place
  3. Improve mobility and performance, both now and in the future

At Spring Ridge Chiropractic, we combine chiropractic adjustments with soft tissue work to obtain the best results. Those joints in your spine are attached to muscles, ligaments and tendons, and if your muscles are too tight they’ll guard the area and the changes created by your adjustments won’t be able to be maintained. When we address the soft tissues through physical therapy, exercise and other modalities, your chiropractic adjustments hold and healing can occur.

When there is inflammation in the body, we may also address that nutritionally. Often nutritional changes can help with inflammation and joint pain.
