Meet the Doctors at Spring Ridge Chiropractic
Dr. Lisa Ortiz
Dr. Lisa Ortiz received an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Ortiz is Webster certified and a Graston Technique® certified provider. She is currently pursuing additional perinatal certifications through the ICPA. She has served as a faculty member at New York Chiropractic College and has enjoyed private practice in New York and Maryland for the past 24 years. She is a firm believer in giving back to the community and devotes her time to several nonprofits in the area including the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek. She has served on the boards of the Frederick PAL, the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek. Currently, she sits on the board of The Birthing Circle.
Dr. Charlie Phares
Dr. Charlie is originally from Palestine, West Virginia, and he attended West Liberty University where he played college baseball as a pitcher. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in 2012 and proceeded to chiropractic college. He attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Florida and graduated in March of 2016. He has worked in Florida, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, and now Maryland. He moved to Frederick with his wife and recently welcomed Declan, their first child to the family. In his free time Dr. Phares enjoys golfing, spending time with his family, and exercising the family pup. Dr. Phares enjoys educating and adjusting patients across the life span from infancy to elderly. He utilizes a variety of adjusting techniques, both spinal and extremity, to ensure his patients are well cared for and can perform at their best.
Dr. Chris Hinchman
Dr. Hinchman received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1993. Following graduation, he served as a faculty member at New York Chiropractic College until 2000, when he left to open a private practice in Laurel, Maryland. In 2006 he and his wife, Dr Lisa Ortiz, acquired Spring Ridge Chiropractic.
